Meet Aleksandra Jankowska

How education and certification helped shape my career

I’m thrilled to have earned my MSc in Welding Engineering and BEng in Mechanical Engineering, becoming a Chartered Engineer with The Welding Institute and a certified International Welding Engineer and Non-Destructive Testing Inspector. I owe a debt of gratitude to Hutchinson for their support in helping me achieve chartership and complete my postgraduate education, which has propelled me to greater heights in my career.

How my role ensures durability and safety in every project
I play a vital role in ensuring that every welding project meets the highest standards of strength, safety, and durability. By developing precise welding procedures, I help guide the process from start to finish. Additionally, I oversee extensive documentation to ensure compliance with our clients’ stringent requirements. Knowing that my work has a direct impact on the safety and reliability of the final product is what motivates me to continually strive for excellence.
Continually raising the bar for manufacturing standards
We’re constantly looking for innovative ways to optimise manufacturing processes, I am currently looking into robotic welding solutions for telecommunication structures. As a business we have an advantage of manufacturing products that are designed by our team. We can implement the right process of manufacturing, but also have the flexibility to adjust the design to make it easier to manufacture. I want to set up independent non-destructive testing team to add even more focus on quality of our products.
