Level 3 Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship
Location: Widnes, Cheshire
Salary:
Year 1 – £8.69 *38 = £330.22
Year 2 – £11.25*38 = £427.50
Year 3 – £14.57*38 = £553.66
Year 4 – £17.54*38 = £666.52
Hours: Hours of work are based on a 38 hour week, Monday to Friday.
Closing date: 11th April 2025
Holidays: 25 days, plus Public Holidays.

Apprenticeship Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Metal Fabricator Apprentices. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working alongside experienced fabricators and welders, utilizing cutting-edge machinery and techniques to produce high-quality steel structures. Apprenticeship will start in September 2025.
Key Objectives of the Role:
- Learn and perform MIG welding on steel components
- Interpret and work from detailed fabrication drawings
- Utilize hand and air tools effectively and safely
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

- Minimum 3 GCSE’s Grades 4 and above including Maths and English

Additional Role Information:
Drug and Alcohol policy including testing.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Flat hours Monday – Thursday 7.00am – 3.30 pm,
Friday 7.00am – 1.30pm, 38 hour week - Overtime when available
