Hutchinson expands manufacturing footprint with new Widnes facility.

Hutchinson is preparing to expand its manufacturing operations with the acquisition of the former Halton Panelcraft facility. Located directly opposite our existing site, the new facility will add approximately 2,000 square metres of production space, taking Hutchinson’s total production capacity across its Widnes operations to more than 15,000 square metres.

The new facility will give Hutchinson the capacity to bring powder coating in-house, allowing more of the production process to be managed by our own team. Combined with the additional production space, this will strengthen our end-to-end manufacturing capabilities, help us respond to growing demand and support a wider range of projects.

The investment reflects the continued growth of the business and the need to ensure our facilities develop alongside the requirements of our customers.

It is another important step in Hutchinson’s development, giving our team the space and capabilities needed to take on new opportunities while continuing to deliver the quality, flexibility and service our customers expect.
