Hutchinson has launched a new digital tracking system to provide real-time visibility of components as they move through production.
Smarter tracking, better visibility
Developed in collaboration with VEC, the solution combines NFC tagging, mobile technology and ERP integration to deliver precise insight into each component within our busy manufacturing environment.
Each component is tagged with an NFC cube, using Android tablets, the shop floor team can tap the tag to access production history, batch data and current status. The system also allows notes, images and additional quality checkpoints to be recorded.
Integrated with our existing ERP system, the platform ensures tracking data aligns with live production and cutting schedules, improving visibility and tracking accuracy of projects across the shop floor.
