Purpose of Role

To weld together components of products as specified by layout, drawings, diagrams, work orders, weld procedures or oral instructions.

Key Objectives of the Role:

• Ability to produce multi-layer fillet welds and single side full penetration V butt welds to NDT acceptance criteria is essential.
• Welding production control to BS EN ISO1090-2 Structural steel.
• Understanding of welding symbols.
• Following welding procedures and instructions.
• Full time position.

Applicants will be required to complete a relevant fabrication activity at interview, such as [1] notch a beam and add plates, [2] cut a hatch into a piece of tube, [3] marking out on tube and plate.
